Self Massage and Myofascial Release with Guest Teacher, Susan Moore

In this workshop, you will learn more about Fascia and sequences that help free restrictions in the fascial net. Fascia is the connective tissue that creates the structure for all the muscles, bones and organs of our bodies. We’ll use therapy balls, self-massage, movement and awareness to help restore mobility, hydration and sensation. Starting with feet, we will journey our way up through legs and hips, shoulders, and neck, focusing on areas that commonly hold restrictions. We will explore movement both before and after working on each area. You will be amazed to feel the difference!
You will need a set of therapy balls, or two tennis balls, and a towel. Therapy balls are a great self-care tool, and can be purchased online. Tennis balls make a good substitute.

Arm Balance Workshop with Guest Teacher, Sara Coblyn

Whether you’ve never tried an arm balance or you’ve been doing them regularly, this workshop will provide a space for you to experiment with and deepen your experience of these fun and challenging postures. There will be plenty of space for Q&A and individual attention. We'll explore the idea of balance and the way our patterns might be getting in our way on and off the mat. We will close with some sweet restorative postures.
